Beluga Blue UPF 50+ OtterSuit
Make Sun Simple with OtterSuits! Our OtterSuits are made in the USA from 78% ECONYL® regenerated nylon, and our signature bright green zipper with chunky teeth makes it easier for little hands to zip up by themselves. Undies are optional under an OtterSuit (no judgment!) but if going commando, exercise care when zippering, especially near penises.
Fabric & Features
Our fabric features:
- UPF 50+ with no chemical treatment
- 78% ECONYL® regenerated nylon and 22% elastane
- Very lightweight and breathable (5.6 oz/yd²)
- Two-way stretch
- Resistant to chlorine and sunscreen
- Highest rating (5!) for resistance to pilling
Care Instructions
For best results, machine wash on delicate cycle and hang or lay flat to dry. Do not bleach. OtterSuits can be tumbled dry on low heat in a pinch, but excessive machine drying will shorten the lifespan of the garment.
About Beluga Blue Whales
Beluga Blue Whales are a near threatened species that live primarily in the Arctic ocean, but migrate when the sea ice changes. They are extremely social mammals who can make several facial expressions thanks to their bulbous foreheads, which are flexible and can change shape. Whales like the beluga are at the top of the food chain and play a vital role in the overall health of the marine environment.
